Cognitive Rehabilitation

People who have suffered a brain injury often experience difficulties with memory, attention and other brain functions. These cognitive difficulties can be addressed through cognitive rehabilitation with a clinician who will introduce different strategies for learning, storing information into memory, and improving attention.

One of HeadWay Clinic’s registered psychotherapists is a member of both Ontario College of Teachers and College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and can provide cognitive rehabilitation techniques through tutoring.

Social Rehabilitation & Recreational Therapy

Social rehabilitation assists clients in developing skills, knowledge and behaviors for daily living and community involvement. HeadWay Clinic’s clinicians work with clients to identify rehabilitation goals and to help reintroduce activities into daily life.
