I am a Registered Psychotherapist who collaborates with people to support them to move forward through changes and challenges in life. Recently in my practice, I have been focussed on exploring and building on connections between psychological, physiological, social, and environmental health. Thinking about increasing well-being may seem like a daunting or even uncomfortable task sometimes. Our preferred stories and ideal selves are sometimes different than what we see in the mirror or hear from our inner critic (we all have one!). I provide a safe space to help people lean into thinking and acting in ways that grow their preferred self. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based practices that centre on validation of self and others. I see problems as separate from people. An area I specialize in is working with children, teens, and young adults. Transitions can be tough and young people experience many changes and challenges in life that they feel little to no control over. My practice supports young people to grow into their best selves by learning tolerance, regulation, and interpersonal skills to create their preferred way of being in the world.
